- Work out in the morning. In a new study by Appalachian State University in North Carolina, women and men who exercised at 7am had better quality sleep that night than those who waited until 1pm or 7pm to get moving.
- Wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. Sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday can throw off your whole routine – and leave you pooped on Monday morning.
- Create a relaxing bedtime routine. Take a bath, listen to music or practice deep belly breathing while you meditate for a few minutes. Winding down with these soothing techniques every night will signal to your body that it’s time for sleep.
