Get a support crew
Girl gang, squad, crew, team… whatever you want to call it, find yourself some like-minded people that will help to inspire you and motivate you when the going gets tough.
Your support team won’t always be your loved ones either. Sometimes it might, they may want the very best for you, but sometimes you may need to seek out some other people to help.
Friends and family who sabotage your goals or encourage you to overindulge whenever you see them are best limiting your time with during the 12 weeks. After the 12 weeks, you will be stronger and have developed good habits so you will know what you need to eat and do to feel good and what things are better off avoiding.
Seek out friends and family who will support you and your goals. Or, alternatively, find some new supporters. You may find people at your gym, in your exercise classes or even on the challenge Facebook group who you get along well with.
These people will help you to stay motivated when the going gets tough. They will remind you what is important and what goals you have set. They will help you to get through the short-term temptations or hurdles and look at the bigger picture. Your team should want the best for you and you should want the best for your team too.
