What’s the one training move you swear by and why?

The squat. It’s a full-body movement and can be tailored to anyone’s goal through its many variations (and the sets, reps and tempo you use).

Biggest lesson you have learnt from competing?

Two things: strive for progress, not perfection. Perfection has a limit; progress doesn’t! And compete with yourself, because no one can compete with that.

What’s a typical day of eating look like for you?

Pre-breakfast: Shake with 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 frozen banana, 1 tsp cinnamon, 200ml skim milk, and 1 tsp almond spread.
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs, 2 slices sourdough with butter, and 1 cappuccino with 1 sugar.
Lunch: Chicken salad with beans, tomato, lettuce, beetroot, potato, and coleslaw.
Afternoon snack: 1 apple and a protein shake.
Dinner: 180g rib-eye steak with salad and sweet potato.
Dessert: 25g Whittaker’s chocolate.

What’s the one training move you swear by and why?

Hip thrusts! Nothing builds the booty more!

Biggest lesson you have learnt from competing?

To be you! Stay real and stay true to yourself. You are capable of more than you know.

What’s a typical day of eating look like for you?

Breakfast: Omelette (1 egg, 150g egg whites with mixed veg), 100g brown rice and a black coffee.
Post-workout: Protein smoothie with chocolate WPI, blueberries, banana, oats, spinach, goji berries, ice and water.
Lunch: 120g chicken breast, 80-100g brown rice, unlimited greens and 30g cashews.
Afternoon tea: 100g salmon, 100g sweet potato and 100g asparagus.
Dinner: 100g beef mince, salad and half an avocado. If I am hungry, I will add some pumpkin!
After dinner: I try not to snack after dinner. I usually have a green tea. If I am really tempted, I’ll have some natural peanut butter!
